I’m honored to announce my first adult eldritch horror graphic novella, WHERE BLACK STARS RISE, co-created with Marie Enger!

This is a re-imagining of the KING IN YELLOW by Robert Chambers, and explores mental health, the hard work of self-exploration, and what happens when you see yourself through the eyes of someone who doesn’t want to understand you. It’s also deeply involved in my desire to place an Arab protagonist and gaze at the forefront of a typically very Orientalist genre.
